On 18th April 2015 the Committee "Trieste Animal Day" was established on the territory of Trieste, Italy, with Italian tax number 90145890324 based in Trieste, Italy in Via Amerigo Vespucci, 12. It is the brainchild of a group of people who love animals and nature.
The spirit that unites these people, and which is mirrored in the purpose of the Committee, is to be a reference point in the area, in particular in the city of Trieste, for all the people who love and respect nature and who want to live this attitude free from preconceived ideas.
The work of the Committee is seen first and foremost with the organization of an annual day of awareness on issues related to respecting animals and the environment, the World Animal Day, which takes place on October 4th each year.
At the same time, the Committee seeks to be promoter and coordinator of projects not only in our area, but on a very broad territory and is aimed at improving the co-existence of people and animals, in line with moral ethics and with a view towards nature and ethology, the relationship between man and animal. We are working towards reaching this aim with public and private organizations, and other animal and environmentalist associations in the area.
